Boo Boo
Anyone who deals with kids knows that there's something magical about a band-aid. For Pipsqueak, they are less for blood wipe up and more fashion accessories. Stink has gotten a bit more discerning, but he still falls prey to the cure-all aspect of them. Last week he mended a rubber chicken's neck at Grandma Stella's. This fall the preschool mascot, a light purple angel, received a Scooby Doo and Shaggy adhesive over it's cracked knee. Yesterday Stink mended a shoe lace by replacing the a missing plastic end with a race car sticky.
I might be grown up, but I've got my band-aids still, too. Call them a cup of coffee, a Diet Coke, or a walk with a good friend, it's nice to have instant fixes.
What are your band-aids?

Oh, good. I'm so glad I'm not the only parent who keeps her kids right next to the stove top. :)
You are not kidding about the fashion accessory bit - LMNOB one time didn't want a particular Dora band-aid, b/c it didn't match her outfit!
As for my band-aids coffee anything, pedicure, time to curl up with a good book. When the three are combined, NIR-freaking-Vana
Yeah, liv, when the time out chair is full, she uses the stove. :P
Um...I have a portrait of both of my kids when they were 3 and 5, and Drama has band-aids all over her body. She looks like an abuse victim! I was so horrified and ORDERED her to take off those bandaids right.now.; but I succumbed to her stand of: either I'll have a tantrum or I'll take my picture. You pick, Mommy.
Of course, now, we think those pictures are "cute". sigh...
Yup. The Band-aid is a very useful tool. Better than duck-tape. Or is it ductape?
Oh yeah, the Band-Aid fix and of course, a little kiss.
For me it's Elan black raspberry frozen yogurt.
Oh yes, bandaids work wonders in our house too!!! They even go on imaginary boo-boos (which my 3-year-old has all over her legs most of the time)!
