Goodness Gracious...

Great Pizza of Fire!

So I wasn't kidding about the fire alarm going off. And this happened with frozen pizza and the kids asleep.

I'm thinking it's time to clean the oven, too. My brilliant deduction stems from the fact that even when I don't char my meals, the alarm still goes off due to Christmas Eve pie stuck under the irons (from three years ago...)

Some serious scrubbing better start if I'm to begin my regime next week.

Any takers?

How'd you get a photo of my oven?

There is a cleaner/degreaser you can buy at any autoparts store. It's called SuperClean and it's purple. That stuff will clean almost anything. I've sprayed it on the oven, let it soak, and it cleaned up great (not to mention the great fumes...open a window). I also use it on laundry stains and any other cleaning. Good luck and have fun!

Hey. School is good. I got 3 As and 2 Bs (or is that backwards?). I don't start the spring semester until the 8th and we just got home from visiting family in NM. I'm looking forward to a few days of relaxing left before the school stress resumes. Thanks for asking. I'll keep you posted on when I give up on school halfway throught the semester and decide to be a permanent stay at home mom, then change my mind a week later. Should be fun.

You come do mine and I'll do yours! Seriously, I thought I was only woman on the face of the planet that had let her oven get that bad. I knew there was a reason that I liked you....

Happy New Year to you and yours. Thank you for all of the love and support over the past months. Ashley

Maggie - How did I get a photo of your oven? Did you not know I'm stalking you?

Amisare - Yeah on your school. Sounds like you had a nice Christmas. And thanks for the tips - If my 99cent store degreaser doesn't do the trick I'm off to the auto store.

OnetallMomma - Oven, Schmoven... how was the date? I'm dying here.
