Who Laid the Yule Log?

Sorry, Mom, but that's a funny title.

This might be the season of love, etc., but there's a lot of craziness in the air. Holidays bring out the best, but also the worst, in people. I might have sent out a few crazed vibes myself this week so it's time to take a chill. I'm not sure what that means, but it better involve my butt in a pair of sweats and some tennis shoes. I'm thinking this coffee and sugar deal, combined with hours in front of my computer, with dishes in the sink and no plans for the day kind of equals disaster.

And so, I present to you my goals for this weekend to get my act into tip top shape.

....

......

.........

..............

I got nothing.

* Photo taken of Pipsqueak this afternoon. It's sugar Friday, which means we eat a few items we don't normally indulge in. Today it was chips. Given my bugger fell asleep with her hand lodged in the package, I'm thinking it was a success.
Note to self: vacuum car.
Note to self again: forgive yourself for not doing it because, come on, you know you won't.

I love that I said to myself "I would never vacuuming out those crumbs" right before I read your second note to self.

I had to share the title with the family. You're my 15-year-old son's new hero!

Love the picture. And I love your honesty. I wouldn't vacuum out the car, either.

And BTW - you can link me anywhere you want to. Unless it's an "adult" site and only because I would disappoint those people tremendously.

Hey I love your goal setting. As hyperactive as you can sound about doing things, I'd say that's rather daring of you really. :-)

Have fun chilling out.

okay, breathe and baby steps. the best thing i did was cut out adding white sugar and artificial sweeteners to things. i feel more sane. and without it, everything that is pumped full of sugar seems unnatural. because, it, well, it is. (did you expect something actually serious to come out of this mouth. shock.)

lurve ya, girl.

Isn't that what weekends are for? Nothing? Great picture. Me thinks it's a wonderful blackmail idea for when she's 15. :)

My goal today is to be funny!

Okay, I know I am going to fail, but at least I wrote out the goal. I did manage to drop of the Salvation Army bags that had been in my car for a month. Yeah for me.

You, however, great woman of sarcasm , are always funny!

Oh what fun you will have when she is 16 and that really cute boy from Am. Lit class has asked her out and she says, Now Mom! Do NOT embarrass me. GOT it?

I think I have seen this exact scene in my car only it was ME in the Dorito coma.

And thank you for NOT vacuuming the car because I might have to beat you with a rubber hose if you did because it would make me look really bad because mine has needed to be vacuumed for months and months and I never seem to get around to doing it and don;t you just love run on sentences?

THANK You for you sweet email to me. I plan on writing you soon but I know you are really busy now, as am I, and I hate to intrude until after the holidays. After that is over, I will intrude BIG time! *laugh* Nah but I WILL write you.

And that title IS priceless.

Hugs,
Sue

Where, where, where have you been?
You can't create an addict and then cut her off! It's been forever since you've blogged... come back! come back! come back!

:)
alright, slightly dramatic, but I miss you over here- could use a good laugh!

I LOVE it! I discovered your blog from His Girl, this is my first visit. It's late here, I'm so stinkin tired from cleaning to prepare for an open house tomorrow (we're moving soon, trying to sell the house). Anyway, I was so grouchy and tired but thought I'd check blogs quick before going to bed, found yours, it was EXACTLY what I needed to end this day cheerfully! Thank you for the laugh!! And have a restful night :)

hey! My little Bumblebee has that same carseat. I just got done trucking it through the airport. I took it on four flights and had Vali sit in it on all four. Got home and read on the bottom of the darn thing that it's NOT certified for aircraft use. D'oh!!

to vacuum the car might only take ten minutes to do, but when you have kids you need to do it on a weekly basis. and ten minutes times 52 weeks, thats... well i don't do math, but that's a lot of time.
